简介:
男,1952年9月生于浙江省平湖市,中国科学院物理研究所研究员、博士生导师,中国科学院院士,发展中国家科学院院士。曾任中国科学院物理研究所党委书记、学位委员会主任,中国科学院副秘书长兼学部主席团秘书长、院士工作局局长,磁学国家重点实验室主任等。现任中国科学院技术科学部副主任,中国科学院物理研究所学术委员会副主任,中国高技术产业化研究会副理事长,中国物理学会理事,中国电子学会常务理事,中国稀土学会常务理事,磁学国家重点实验室学术委员会主任,中国科学院磁性材料与器件重点实验室学术委员会主任,中国再生资源产业技术创新战略联盟专家委员会主任,《Chin. Phys. B》副主编、《物理学报》副主编、《J. Magn. Magn. Mater.》等8个杂志编委等。
主要研究方向:
新型磁性功能材料的结构、相变、拓扑磁性和磁畴结构;新型稀土永磁材料探索和高性能稀土永磁材料相关基础科学问题研究。
过去的主要工作及获得的成果:
长期从事磁学和磁性材料的研究工作。研究了稀土-铁基化合物的结构与磁性以及纳米晶复相稀土永磁材料的微结构、相结构与磁性的关系,合成出多种新型稀土永磁材料,解释了稀土永磁材料的矫顽力机制和纳米复合永磁材料的磁性耦合机理;研究了稀土-过渡族化合物的晶体结构、相变、磁性和磁热效应,发现了一级相变镧铁硅基大磁热效应材料,室温最大磁熵变超过传统材料稀土釓的两倍,利用中子衍射、穆斯堡尔谱、电子结构计算和磁性测量等手段,研究了一级相变体系在相变温度附近的磁热效应,揭示了一级相变体系中大磁热效应的物理机制,给出了正确表征相分离一级相变体系熵变的方法;深入研究了非晶态合金的磁性和输运性质,解释了非晶态合金中磁性和电性的反常现象。发表学术论文450余篇,被他人引用10000余次。获国家发明专利40多项。培养博士研究生40余名。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、国家973项目首席科学家,获香港求是科技基金会“杰出青年学者奖”,中国物理学会叶企孙物理奖,北京市科技进步奖一等奖、国家自然科学奖二等奖、何梁何利科学与技术进步奖、陈嘉庚技术科学奖等。

目前主持国家973项目、国家自然科学基金重大研究项目、中国科学院前沿科学重点研究项目等。从事磁性功能材料特别是稀土-过渡族金属间化合物的晶体结构、相变、拓扑磁性和磁畴结构研究,探索新型稀土永磁材料,开展稀土资源高效平衡利用和高性能稀土永磁材料相关基础科学问题研究。
